I swear, sometimes i wonder if the UI people have ever used the product. For two quite fit people it could take about 2.5 hours. It can be a major pain in the ass figuring out where things are. Install Creo 2.0/3.0/5.0 with PTCCreoPatcherSSQ:Creo plays a vital role in the field of design. First part took about 1 hour, and second hardest one about 3 hours. So, that functionality isnt very good.Īnd, they buried features in places they had no business being. The sketch inside the feature vs external sketch is a good example - back in the old days that was the only way to do it, so most PTC users would never think to make a sketch first and then revolve. And, because the new UI was written on top of the old kernel, its kludgy and cumbersome, especially if you are used to other packages.

Over the years, PTC has updated the UI to make it more like other packages, only to piss off existing users. After 4 years of SW, i switched back to Pro/E (Creo by then) and spent another 2 years bitching about Creo.Ĭreo is a very old software package - I'm sure its kernel outdates most other packages.

When I switched from Pro/E to solidworks, i spent 2 years bitching i couldn't do some things in SW that were easy in Pro/E.
